Only in Hollywood could the Metro (subway) station look so cool. Yes, we have a subway here in L.A. We are not as depraved and lacking in “big city” transportation as people would like you to believe.
Do not believe the propaganda.
This proves that we’re a big city too.

This was the Marina Del Rey Film Festival where our good friend’s film screened on opening night under the stars, along the water.
So, yeah… you may have a big screen, but it’s not as cool as this.

The unusual and freakish are the norm in Venice Beach, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
“Welcome to my crib,” was his mantra as people passed by.

This is the lucky girl who finished the last drop of beer we served at the beer festival yesterday in downtown LA. We poured Pumpkin Head beer by Shipyard (which ran out first) and Smashed Blueberry (also by Shipyard). (Shhhh… I poured myself a couple of mugs on the side).
That is true beauty… and the beer.
